Description

The Macbook Air 2018 marked a significant redesign for the lineup, transitioning it into a modern, high resolution aesthetic while retaining its iconic portability. It features a 13.3" Retina display with IPS technology and a resolution of 2560 x 1600. With an intel core i5 dual processor, aluminum unibody construction with a thinner profile and narrower display bezels. It includes TouchID for Biometric authentication and the third generation butterfly keyboard mechanism. It also features two thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This model was the first in the Air series to introduce the Retina display and Touch ID, effectively bridging the gap between the legacy Air design and the perfomance requirements of modern MacOS environments.
